Has anyone else noticed that Marcus Smart is one-of-a-kind. I can think of no other NBA player quite like him. It is great to see him back on the hardwood with his Team Shamrock buddies in Melbourne, Australia. Taking a page right out of his Unusual Player book, Smart has been observed practicing some trick shots. He may be the only player in the League for whom it makes sense.
Hey, taking a shot from distance while lying on the floor? Why not? He does spend so much time on the floor, he may as well practice taking a shot from the prone position if the shot clock is running down.
Between his legs while facing away from the basket? I can't think of a situation where he might employ this shot, but he is one guy that can find a way.
Smart seems over the calf issue, and he is back on the floor. I worry somewhat about Team USA's exhibition game versus Australia two days from now. Two of the Aussie players, ex-Celtic Aron Baynes and Matthew Dellavedova, can be tough defenders. Here's hoping Marcus remains healthy.

It would be a long shot, but we may just see Marcus pull this one off at least once this season.

Great to Marcus out there on the hardwood again
