Robert Williams: Rim Protector

Robert Williams is locked in to be a Celtic and at very good money. Seems like Brad is getting important pieces to sign and be a part of hopefully Banner 18. With his athletic ability and constant work at his game the sky's the limit. He has a knack for blocked shots, gathering rebounds, and flashy passes.

Whenever he enters the game the flow and feel changes. It is evident anytime he hits the court he's a difference maker. If he can stay healthy at this bargain price will be a great extension. He fits very well with the Jays. He has a great connection with new point guard Marcus Smart. Celtics fans should expect a lot of lobs and monstrous dunks!

His upside is extremely high and he brings so much excitement to the game and his teammates. Can he be Bill Russell-esqe in his shot blocking skills? Would be nice! Celtics fans have been high on him when he was drafted and he hasn't disappointed! If he builds a nice post up game he's gonna be special. Imagine having McHale or Chief share their moves with him!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game.
