Forgive me for slacking after the Sun's game, totally dropped the ball on our award winner. Not today though. Lets take a look at what our esteemed writer Tom thinks.

"If Brad Stevens and Ime Udoka wanted to showcase Brown for an upcoming trade, which I doubt is the case, his eruption versus Orlando could not have been more perfect. There was some "hop-on-my-back" swagger as he hit from everywhere and dared the Magic defense to stop him."

Hop on my back swagger! I love this, I also love our award winner Jaylen Brown! 50 Points! 11 Rebounds and 4 assists! There were moments where I didn't think they would come back, but I'm a believer. So I never gave up! My Momma taught me that!

JB has already proven to me he's a star, last night he showed the NBA and his doubters. With that said congrats on winning the Celtics Sentinel Citation Award! If I was running the front office there is no way I'm trading him!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game .
