Boston Basketball Balling in Brooklyn

       DESTROY the NETS! TERMINATE THEM!

     1st Quarter

Get the lead from the start, and keep your feet on the gas pedal. The Nets are hurt, and falling down the standings. Let's keep that slide going! DEFENSE, this Celtics team is built on D! The D is coming out landing HayMakers! The O has been moving the rock! Spacing looks great so far, multiple guys touching the ball and making plays.

Celtics know they are the better team, and are showing it! A nice 14 nothing run to start the game! Man this offense is running like a classic car, the sounds of nothing but Net are spectacular! This is like a clinic on how to beat an inferior basketball team. Keep pouring in on, as Cobra Kai says No Mercy! Outside shots and drives what a performance so far! 28-2 right now!

     2nd Quarter

Celtics letting the Nets back in the game. The lead is down to 13, we need to see that D we had in the beginning of the first. Celtics need to get back to moving the ball better offensively. Back to back plays by JB, one on offense and one on D. Love the way he's playing. He's just so quick getting to the hoop.

A three on one break and the Nets jack up a three. That is what's wrong with the NBA, to many threes. It's honestly frustrating to see and even laughable the NBA thinks thats what fans want to see. As Celtics fans we need to see them finish this quarter and half strong. Don't give the Nets any hope. There is no light at the end of the tunnel for this Nets team tonight. Just like that the lead is back to 21! JB to RWill who just posterized Blake Griffin!

     3rd Quarter

No lull to start the third, Celtics coming out throwing punches even with the lead. Celtics are dominating in the paint tonight. RWill is Mr Alley OOP this season! This team tonight looks good, but can get even better! The Wolverine is dealing tonight, scoring, dishing, and playing D!

Celtics up by 30, yes 30! A win is a win, Celtics have dealt with their share of injuries this season. This writer has had his moments with this team, but the way they play D gives me a feeling that they can make hay in the post season! If I'm any team in the East I want to avoid the Celtics. JB and JT in series will be hard to contain.

     4th Quarter

We have lost contact with the Celtics game, does the NBA not want us to enjoy the Celtics destroying the feeble Nets?! Do I get a refund on my cable due to the outage?! Anyways Celtics hold a comfortable lead that needs to grow! No letting up, keep it rolling guys! DESTROY!

Stuck watching Sixers and Suns, how is Embid the biggest guy on the floor yet flails like a dead fish? Still can't get over what happened to the feed of the Celtics game, we can't get to enjoy the Celtics crushing the Nets. I know we aren't at the Garden but....

I'm making it Gino Time! KG would approve! 🍀☘️🏀

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
