Here's a Nugget, Celtics welcome Denver to the Garden

      1st Quarter

Marcus the Wolverine Smart sets the tone early on! A three early on goes Bing Bang BOOM! I love seeing JT attack the rim, that's where he's at his best. Not looking good right now Celtics down by 7. TO Ime, time to play D and get the Jays going.

Celtics come out after the TO with some purpose and fire. This is the team we deserve to see as fans! Nice run fellas, let's go. Welcome Derrick White! Let's Go! Despite trailing the Celtics ball movement has been very good and D White is making an IMPACT!

     2nd Quarter

Derrick White may be the piece this team was missing! In his first game as a Celtics he's balling! Nice to see PP get minutes right away after the wheeling and dealing! Tonight we have game folks, so buckle up it's go time! This is the perfet game to see if we have grown as a team!

GWill is the one guy who we are with from that draft a few years ago and we are lucky! He's a thinking man's player but also has that old man skill set. With a new player twist! The thing is we need him to be a catalyst of this second unit. Things are a bit dicey right now, need to see a nice run before the end of the half.

     3rd Quarter

Trailing at the half, time for the D to take over. This game right here needs to be the measuring stick of this season. We better come back and come with a vengeance. Who is going to be the catalyst to our second half comeback? JT, JB or someone else?! Either way D needs to be stellar, way to many points given up on the first half..

Celtics are fighting like Rocky Balboa tonight! Defense is showing it's heart and soul right now! Offensively we are scrappy and fighting hard. Time to keep this momentum going. Take the lead and run with it. Denver is a good team and we came to play. Let's go fellas! Game is tied, not any more. Celtics with the lead! GWill with the block of the season!

     4th Quarter

PP hitting a huge three as the Celtics are still climbing uphill. Down by two it's time to make a run. Just like that a RWill alley OOP gives us the lead! Here we go, time to make this nuggets team go back to Denver a loser!

It's getting tight tonight, it's all nodded up. Who will step up, make the game winning plays tonight. Nice finish for the C's. Playing pretty well right now. Can they complete the win. I'm guessing they will! Nice win for the C's tonight! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
