It's the Final Countdown to the regular season!

Pre game thoughts, let's see what Noah Vonleh can do in his last prove it game! If I'm the Celtics I'm not letting him walk out that door. He's a throwback big and a valuable asset for this team.

Ist Quarter Thoughts ☘️

Toronto has come out ready to ball, Celtics ball movement has been good so far. The way they move that rock to one another is a sign of a team that trusts! The more they share the better shots they get, it will be difficult for other teams to stop them this year. Team D and Team O are a recipe for success.

Downtown Jaylen Brown is once again off to a hot start. He's the match that lights the fire in the first. In a very smart basketball play he gets the rock to White for the three in the corner! That's a play we need to see more of from him. If he develops that watch out NBA, because both of the Celtics studs like to pass the rock. Yet another weapon in their arsenal! Both Jays need to dive into Larry Birds greatest hits and watch him pass with pin point accuracy and flare!

Love seeing Marcus crash the boards, we are going to need to have all hands on deck until RWill returns. DWhite is showing the work he put in this off-season with some hot shooting tonight. Goodness! Gracious! The ball movement is BEAUTIFUL! This year is going to be a lot of fun seeing this team grow on both ends. Celtics lead 36-35.

2nd Quarter Thoughts🍀🍀

We need to see the C's exhibit that top 5 D, giving up 35 points in the first is not ideal. Another excellent offensive possession that sees the ball hopping, ends in a GWill threeeeeeeee! Sam Hauser is more than just a shooter, forcing a travel on D!

The way Malcom the Rev Brogdon gets to the hoop is truly a joy to see. Give me a guy willing to get to the hoop and you have my approval! That's a Johnny Point! Watching JT he could be a guy who eventually puts up regular triple doubles. Tatum is starting to light it up, this dude is on a different level.

A nice 13 to zip run by the C's led by great ball movement and solid gold D! Feel like I need some solid gold hits on the radio watching this team, they are making me feel good tonight! GWill literally just busted out and blew up his shoe on the break. It's like he Hulked up! Is it ok to say I love Malcom Brogdon already! He just adds an element to this team that stands out! He's a fantastic facilitating savant!

Right now, second chance points are hurting the C's. RWills absence is definitely being felt. Celtics cling to a three point lead 66-63.

3rd Quarter Thoughts☘️☘️☘️

Let's see that killer instinct from the C's in this third quarter. Time to make the Raptors extinct again! The Celt's are a little sluggish right now, we need a spark! Who will be that man?! The Raptors are on an 8-0 run right now. This is where you need your studs to calm the waters and get us back on track.

JT using the jets on the crossover to get to the rack, this should be the start of great things to come! Celtics with the picture perfect passing leading to an open JB for threeeeeeeee! C's on a nice run here grabbing that lead back from the Raptors. Tatum's ability to drive can become a huge piece to the elevation of his game.

I'm loving JTs new kicks, maybe he can send me a pair?! We have an Amazing Al sighting nailing a pure three from the corner! That nothing but net sound is absolutely glorious! Things are starting to unravel as the lead is down to one. Both teams are playing like it's the regular season. You have to love the competition!

JT has just been called for a second technical foul and has been ejected. What is GOING ON?! The refs have just made this game all about them. This is why you question the NBA sometimes. End of the third and it's all tied up at 98.

4th Quarter Thoughts 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Here we go as the fourth begins, and it looks like the wheels are falling off. Come on guys get in the game! Just like that we get JB with the euro step lefty off the glass. That was basketball beautiful! Label me as impressed by what Blake Griffin brings to the game. He sets very good screens, rebounds and just makes savvy basketball plays.

Hauser's shot has been off tonight he's going to need to be more precise come the regular season. Celtics trail by five, let's get that comeback win! Celtics offensive execution is looking very good right now. It needs to be said WATCH OUT NBA! THE CELTICS ARE COMING! This team seems dialed in and it's felt that way all preseason. Expect great things this year fans! I haven't been this excited well since last year!

Overtime ☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️

Have to channel my inner Tommy but these refs SUCK tonight! Both Hauser and Pritchard have been off tonight. So many bricks they could build a house!  Offensive rebounds have killed the C's all game, they need to tighten it up during the regular season. Noah Vonleh once again is showing his worth to this Celtics team.

Final Score Celtics 132 Raptors 136

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! Bring on those chumps in Philly.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
