Friday Night is Alright for a Fight! Celtics host the King's.

1st Quarter ☘️

The C's are coming out slow tonight, almost if they are having a turkey hangover. Off the extra pass DWhite is lights out from three! When the Celtics move the ball, good things happen.

Al just sent Murrays shot into the ether! Get that out of my house young pup! Followed up with a three in the offensive end. Al is the swiss army knife of the C's, he does it all!

Great steal by the C's which leads to an easy layup! A reminder to never give up on any play! Basketball boils down to who wants it more, and right now it's the C's! Let's keep that D locked in, that's a key factor if we want to win.

Early on the Cs are leading in assists, a testament to how well they move the ball. Sharing is caring, and we know how much these guys trust each other. I've written this before, when the C's are unselfish, the offense flows like the force. ( Star Wars reference for those who don't know.)

Malcolm Brogdon for threeeeeeeee!!! He's Mr Smooth out there, no flinching in his game. He's honestly the perfect piece for this Celtics team. Shout out to Brad Stevens for getting him! Hammer DUNK by JT after some nifty passing in transition! C's lead 36-22.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

As we start the second, keep forcing those turnovers fellas! Sacramento with some excellent passing, cutting the lead to ten. There's a reason why this team scores so many points.

DWhite just said hold my beer and stops the King's run. Three ball corner pocket! Great job by JT, using his physicality to draw the foul. That's a smart basketball move.

JB for THREEEEEEEEE!!! He's deadly when he's on! We have about 7 minutes left in the half. Need to see the Celtics build on this lead. How does a fifteen point lead sound at half?!

Sacramento has put their foot on the gas, and cut into this lead. C's need to wake up, or they will be trailing at the half. This is where you need the Jays to show how great they are.

C's are getting killed in the paint 18-2...

Great job forcing an offensive foul, thank you Marcus! The man who does all the little things! Just like that the lead has vanished too a mere single point. Not very happy right now! How did JT just make that floater?!? Celtics lead 64-62.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

Where is the energy?! JT is going to need too take over tonight. He's scored on the last few possessions, and we are all tied up.

Excellent ball movement on that last possession ending in a Brogdon THREEEEEEEEE!!! Time out by the Kings, C's need to take this moment to refocus their efforts. This has been a strange game, no true flow for either side. Each team has made a run and that's why it's a close game.

The refs have sucked on both ends tonight. They have been slanted in the King's direction. Points in the paint tonight, have killed the C's. Great read by Al finding DWhite on the drive.

Loving the fire I'm seeing in JT right now! That's what you want from the greats. The C's are picking up the intensity on both ends! Let's go fellas, finish this quarter strong! All tied up at 84, under two minutes to go. Pritchard for THREEEEEEEEE!!!

The way this team is closing this quarter is spectacular! JT has been the catalyst, MVP! MVP! MVP! Celtics lead, 94-84.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

A 19-0 run from the third into this fourth, let's go!

Celtics fans we are witnessing a season for the ages by JT. I've seen a decent amount of basketball in my lifetime. What JT is doing could result in an MVP, and Banner 18. I've loved this kid since day one. I've never believed or bought into the negative media thrown at him.

JB comes in off a rest and is instant offense! Scoring on multiple possessions, love the fact he's always ready to go off! He's another guy who the negative media attacks and they just need to learn to hush up!

PP is an example of always being ready for your moment. His work ethic, and willingness to never give up is endearing to Celtics fans.

Kudos to the Wolverine for wanting to guard Sabonis. Taking the challenge and bodying him up. Even getting called for a foul, you love the toughness.

Excellent recognition by the C's hustling the ball up the court. Leading to a five on four, and getting an easy deuce! As Tommy always said RUN!

This Celtics team is stacked with weapons and when they are firing on all cylinders it's BEAUTIFUL! Celtics win 122-104.

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! I will personally be attending Sundays game, so my game notes won't be there as the game ends. I apologize, however I will write on Monday about my experience seeing this team in person. I am beyond excited as I get to see them with my dad and family.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
