If u can make it there, I'll make it anywhere! Celtics in New York to face the Knickerbockers

 1st Quarter ☘️

No Al, welcome Blake Griffin to the starting lineup! Expect him to have a good night given elevated minutes. An excellent inside out number results in a JB THREEEEEEEEE! JT says I need some action and nailz a threeeeeeeee! How many Celtics fans would like to see a wire to wire blowout?!

The C's are three happy tonight, I usually don't like it but they are going down. Let's start getting to the rack! The question has to be asked, how did the Knicks beat Philly. Their offense is like watching paint dry!

The C's have once again allowed an inferior team to get back on the game. For the love of basketball play D and put this inferior team to bed early! Way to open looks, get your hands up and shut them down!

When the C's move the ball, good things happen! Why doesn't anyone follow their damn shot?! The C's are relying on way too many threes tonight. Question I have is what happened to this team playing hard D?!

Malcolm Brogdon is in the game, let's hope he can settle this offense into a nice groove! Back to back THREEEEEEEEEs, from Sam I Am! C's are close out the first up by 3, 32-29.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

Nice to see Noah Vonleh in the game, I guarantee he impacts tonight's game to benefit the C's. C's have come out throwing a few haymakers to grab a decent lead! This is how you play against a team that doesn't belong on the floor with you!

Malcolm Brogdon is becoming one of my favorite Celtics players this season. Everything about his game screams all around baller! The way he sees the floor, how he gets to the hoop, his passing, defense, and just the way he commands this team on the floor!

DWhite gets no love from the refs. It's a darn joke! Refs letting the Knicks creep back in. The lead is only 10, need to C the C's go on a run to finish off these last four minutes!

Once again the C's are allowing the Knicks to get back in the game. Stop allowing this mediocre team to get back in the game. Anyone else feel frustrated?! JB is lighting it up tonight. But the D flat out stinks!

C's lead by one at the half.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

We are having a punch for punch third. It would be nice if the C's can get a few stops and build a bit of a lead. Excellent job by JT driving to the rack and drawing a foul. During that play some guy on the Knicks who probably shouldn't be in the league flopped all over the floor.

Malcolm Mr Smooth Brogdon, with a nice three, and running jumper. He's just gets buckets effortlessly. He makes the game look so easy, when we all know it's not. I hope RJ Barrett realizes he's just a regular dude on the floor.

Sam I Am with a nice three out of the timeout. The ball is starting to zip around, and JB is the beneficiary with a three. Once again the C's D STINKS!

FINALLY some decent defense as the C's get a 24 second violation on the Knicks. What an excellent pass from MB to GWill for a corner dagger! The score is still too close for comfort. C's lead 101-96.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

We enter the fourth and the C's are up by five. Will they build upon this lead, let's hope so. We need to come out and force our will on them especially on D! If we can defend and move the ball we have a shot at winning.

JT gets the friendly bounce, C's just can't get any separation. JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! What a shot! Good to see some active hands on D!

Noah Vonleh with two HUGE offensive rebounds, one resulting in a put back. Time to finish strong guys. Knicks are dominating the paint, and to me that's unacceptable. Noah Vonleh for THREEEEEEEEE?!!! C's up by 9.

What's the defense doing out there. It's almost like they don't remember how to D up?! Why are you double teaming a guy who averages under single digits per game?!

JT with a step away three to set a franchise record! C's up by 10!!!!! I keep hearing it's been an entertaining game, which I can see. Although I'd rather watch the C's dominate on D, and run away with it.

C's grabbing second chance points and this one looks to be in the books! C's Win! 133-118! Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
