Rain aludes to cold as the C's welcome the Wolves on the night before Christmas Eve.

 1st Quarter ☘️

C's open up with free throws, let's hope we see them attack the hoop tonight! Make the refs work for their money! Why do the T-wolves uniforms look like an old cassette tape? DWhite scores early, let's go! DWhite has answered the call! My article earlier must have motivated him!

Marcus the Wolverine Smart for THREEEEEEEEE!!! It's great to have you back Marcus! Set the tone on defense tonight! Sam I am with a great pass to DWhite for the JAM! C's are playing with more energy to open up tonight's game.

Celtics defense stinks once again... Great board by Luuuuuuuuuke Kornet, that's a Tommy point! How is it we find ourselves trailing yet once again. In other news Luuuuuuuuuke Kornet saves a possession which results in a deuce!

C's trail by seven, what are we doing?!? 29-22 after the first.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

C's look to be a bit better to start up the second. Still not where they should be, STOP SHOOTING THREES! What a play by Marcus getting the rock to JT for the JAM!

C's need to hit their free throws, can't be missing free points. Cs trail by three, let's see if we can go on a nice run. GWill starts it up with a huge three to tie it up! Al just sent told Reid get that weak shot outta my house!

Is it me or is Gobert just a stiff! Al nails a three in his face and goes Bing Bang Boom! JB with the HAMMER JAM!!! C'S on a 17-2 run! Al for THREEEEEEEEE!!!

C's D has stepped up! JB manning up and getting to the rim! This seems a bit more like the Celtics team we know. Need to finish this quarter strong! C's trail at the half 56-54. Disgusting.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

Cs have come out looking like crap. I'm about to hit the wall watching this team. This just doesn't look like a team that knows how to win anymore. They should be better at the Garden, this isn't a home court advantage right now.

How is it that, Anthony Edwards is taunting the C's right now. Someone needs to shut his mouth by playing some hard core defense. I'm sickened by how these Celtics are playing.

When is this going to change, these Celtics are sleep walking lately. There's my guy DWhite! Let's Go! JT goes off the bank and one! Time for JT to take over this game! DWhite goes to the rack and gets the and one! C's cut the lead to a meager deuce. JT gets to the rack and ties it up!!! Finally something to cheer about it.

Jay T getting to the rack with the left! What a pass by Marcus to JB, he is really seeing the floor well! What an up and under by JT! Love seeing him attack the rim! That's my favorite JT! Attack! Attack! Attack!

JT for three, gets the foul called. Should be a flagrant foul according to the rule. It is and C's grab the lead. Al for THREEEEEEEEE!!! JT with good defense! Celtics lead 88-86.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Well it's time to step up and finish this game strong. Downtown Jaylen Brown for THREEEEEEEEE!!! What a great drive to the rack by JB! Nice to see JB challenge Gobert! Keep taking it to that total stiff of a big man. Downtown Jaylen Brown for yet another threeeeeeeee!!!

Excellent D by the C's forcing the turnover! What a great offensive board by Luuuuuuuuuke!!! DWhite forces the charge! That's the defense we want to see! DWhite has played like the guy we all know and love.

JT with the monster JAM! JB with a monster JAM! NBA JAM Celtics edition! Give me getting to the rim and bringing the hammer all the time!

Downtown Jaylen Brown for THREEEEEEEEE!!! Currently speaking he has 32! Al for THREEEEEEEEE!!! This reminds me about Celtics basketball! JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! The Jays are en Fuego! Both have hit that thirty piece and a side of fries! Celtics get back on track, final score Celtics 121-Wolves 109.

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green! Bring on the Bucks!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
