Clash of the Titans. Eastern Conference Final Preview?

What does tonight really mean?? On Christmas day the C's crushed the Bucks. The next time they played the C's sat everyone, and had a chance to beat a healthy Bucks team. In all reality they should have. Was that strategic by the C's?? Getting in the Bucks head, by saying even our bench can beat you. Who know. What I do know is the C's are in second right now and the Bucks are first. That may not change this season. What tonight means is, if the C's win they will own space in the Bucks minds. It will give the C's the season series and prove they can win in Milwaukee. Which will be the case if both teams make the Eastern Conference Finals.

It's game time and the tip off is here....

First Quarter Moments

Early on both teams are trading punches, it feels like a heavyweight title fight. Both teams are out to prove who is the best. Record wise it's the Bucks and even the eye test says that. In my heart I still believe the C's can beat them and win the whole damn thing. They just need to prove it.

Loving how both Jays are out to prove they want it tonight. They both aren't settling for threes tonight. If they are wide open take em but get to the rack! Force both Lopez and the Greek to hit you, and get to the line for some easy points. Coach Mazzulla has his work cut out for him vs Coach Bud.

JB just put the Greek into his shake and bake bag! Scores on the midrange jumper! C's offense isn't where it should be right now. They need to start hitting their shots. These Bucks can be scored on, the C's have weapons to do so. JB with a huge three, showing he's here to play.

Celtics defense has played pretty well so far tonight. Forcing the Bucks into some tough shots. Need to keep grinding on D, and exert your will. Defense is what will carry the C's especially in the playoffs. Tonight has that playoff feel, so let's keep that defensive intensity up.

C's have a lead, but better not get soft. Need a full forty eight minutes tonight.

Second Quarter Moments

Rob off the pass gets the JAM! JT is hitting his threes so far. Don't get fooled by that. Get to the hoop JT! Rob needs to learn to not fall for the fake. Stay upright and keep your feet! JT has been feeling it so far. Love him taking Giannis off the dribble.

Let's see a nice sustained run fellas. Keep the pace up and force those Bucks defenders to work. Coach Bud with a strategic timeout. C's need to be ready for the Bucks best punch right now. They aren't the best team in the league because they lay down. They are going to fight tooth and nail to win.

Al with a deep as the ocean floor three! Hot damn!!! Bucks aren't hitting their shots right now... C's must keep up this pace and flow! JB is back in after some nice rest. JT and JB look to finish this quarter off well. JT with the offensive rebound! They are the aggressor right now. It feels like they are not messing around tonight!

Bucks are extremely cold on offense right now. C's need to push this lead to thirty! This Celtics defense came to play tonight! The goal here is to keep it up come second half. C's with a HUGE lead.

Third Quarter Moments

C's need to continue to make a statement as the third starts. Love seeing Al follow up misses shots! Follow your shots fellas! Let's Go! C's should expect a run by the Bucks at some point. Every NBA team makes a run.

Marcus for three, I don't mind him shooting especially when they are ahead. Don't make it a habit, keep playing D and making those sweet passes. Kudos to Marcus this season, he truly hasn't been healthy but his effort is there.

Now's the time for Joe to get some other guys in the game... We need to see Hauser get some run. Let the guy play with both Jays and knock down some shots. C's haven't given up much ground here in third which is good. They haven't come out flat, as they usually do.

Both Jays are out here to prove a point, we are still the defending ECF champs. We are the BEST DUO IN THE FREAKING NBA! JB with the huge JAM! JT with another three!!!! Get out of the C's way as they steamroll the best team in the league. Remember this win when we face them in the playoffs!

JAYSON CHRISTOPHER TATUM!!!!! HES EN FUEGO!

This game tonight will live on in the Bucks heads. Remember 3-30-2023.

Fourth Quarter Moments / Knights Knotes.....

This Celtics team came out tonight and wanted to prove a point. They most certainly have! I've questioned this teams balls, and tonight they proved they have em. This regular season win doesn't bring us a title but it does give us space in the Bucks heads.

Kudos to Joe Ingles and the Bucks doing God's work accommodating those with Autism at the games. I work with a young man with Autism and they are truly special individuals.

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! We may be on the road but I've got some Gino Time for our readers!

Anytime you get to see Gino dance you know it's a special night! 🍀🏀☘️🔥

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
