Chi Town Vs Bean Town

In what should be the last we hear of the in season tournament, the Celtics welcome the Bulls. Whatever these unlikable rules are, say the C's need to destroy the Bulls by a ton of points. Personally this in season tournament is a waste. It's set up for weaker teams and fan bases to claim some type of trophy. Celtics fans don't want or need in season tournament championships. We want BANNER 18 and that is all this season is about. Personally this in season is set up for someone who is very weak mentally from a sports perspective and loves to flop. It's also set up for a franchise who has been given players and calls more so than anyone else in the league. That's right the LA Fakers.

1st Quarter 🏀

JB owns the first quarters lately and he starts us off with a three tonight. Early on the Celtics ball movement looks very smooth. Jrue off his ankle injury, gets on the board with a three! Good to have him back, he's an all around complete basketball player and one of my favorites. C's are all tied up with the Bulls early on. C's should be able to blow the doors off this team, if they put in the work. JB keeps rolling and nails the three! Mr First Quarter is leading the way! PP hits his first shot of the night and to me that's a promising sign. Sam follows up with his own three! C's are locked and loaded from three! Dare I say another three from PP! We are en Fuego! JT gets into the paint and draws the and one. Wow that was a quick first quarter tonight. C's have the lead and look to build on it.

2nd Quarter 🏀🏀

Derrick White running the offense and finds Luke under the rim for two! Luke has been solid on both ends so far tonight! He's not turning any heads in the NBA, but he's fundamentally sound and answers when called upon. I would love to see the C's grab another big through trade or in the buyout market later in the year. Plus a bench scorer as well, someone who can give you about ten to fifteen points a game. Porzingis joins the broadcast looking very sharp in the suit. JT has all the ability in the world to dominate in every aspect of the NBA game. Midrange, post up, driving, and long range as well. He's got it all! Making a case to eventually be part of the Mount Rushmore of the Boston Celtics. He just needs a ring or two, maybe even three! What's amazing is his game gets better each year! JB gets his customary dunk off the great pass from Al! A sweet back door pass! C's are allowing too many second chance points. Come on guys! Wake up! JT put his defender in the blender and gets to the line. Jrue Holiday is lighting the lamp from deep tonight! Al Horford is loving his role off the bench. He looks rejuvenated! JB with multiple poster like dunks tonight! Derrick White has been lighting it up. Overall good team effort as we lead at the half.

3rd Quarter 🏀🏀🏀

C's need to have a good third quarter, they tend to be very lax in the third. C's should just blow the doors off this unmotivated Bulls team. C's with some excellent ball movement, they just didn't knock down the shot. They have come out slow in this third quarter. Need to work harder on both ends! C's are listening and starting to destroy the Bulls! C's are up by a ton! Keep it rolling fellas! The way the C's are spacing and shooting, there isn't a chance these Bulls can do anything to stop em. This Bulls team is an absolute mess. There is barely any effort out there. PP and Sam both sinking bombs in the third. C's are rolling and up big after three.

4th Quarter 🏀🏀🏀🏀

Delano for three!!! C's are a little slow out of the gate. Sam HAUSER WITH ANOTHER DUNK!!! He's becoming a Dunk Master! C's ball movement and passing has been pretty impressive lately. Just want to see the C's execute properly, and not injure anyone. Don't really care about the in season tournament garbage. I must say I love seeing Joe wearing the cross on his shirt. C's are up by thirty! It's getting close to being Geno time! JB tends to over dribble a lot. I've said this before and I'll say it again, loving the Sam Cassell commercial! Back to Geno Time!!! Celtics Win! Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?
