We have lift off!

C's coming off a tough loss look to rebound  in Houston...

1Q 🏀

C's are looking to attack inside tonight, that should be their objective every game! We are missing Jrue and Al, it would be nice if Sam steps up. C's D has been pretty tight, tonight. The Rockets are led by Ime Udoka. The Celtics former Coach who led them to the Finals. Ime has a very good repoire with some of the Celtics players. Good to see the Celtics leading the offensive board category. They have more size than the Rockets and need to take advantage of that. KP with a very good first quarter overall!

2Q ☘️☘️

C's aren't doing themselves any favors as the lead is shrinking. They are going to need to tighten up on D. PP out here drilling deep threes! His range is endless, love how he plays so hard. The C's have increased their lead which is what I was looking for. The Celtics D has been very good in the latter parts of the quarter here. DWhite can be velvety out there. He just slid right through the Rockets D and jammed it home. With minimal attention. I love DWhite and everything he brings to this team. C's lead at the half, yet beware of the dreaded third.

3Q 🏀🏀🏀

Will the C's buck the third quarter meltdown trends. How is it possible that an NBA team has so many issues with just one quarter. There has to be a way in which they can mentally envision it's the first quarter and come out ready to win! The lead is fifteen and let's either keep it there or enlarge it. Great job as Derrick White forces the Rockets turnover. C's are holding their own so far, but the lead is going down. C's with back to back threes from JB and KP and here we go! Now the offense is starting to flow. Bury these Rockets now and get ready for the Mavs tomorrow night. C's have about three minutes to build the lead and finish strong.

4Q 🍀🍀🍀🍀

It's money time, will the Celtics cash? They damn well better! Kornet with a huge defensive play as the C's are imploding... Joe with a much needed timeout. After that timeout the C's came out and executed extremely well to build up the lead. C's really need to stop shooting themselves in the foot tonight. They need to get it together and finish strong in these last few minutes. KP is having himself quite the game tonight. He's been a beast on both ends of the floor! We have a LETS GO CELTICS CHANT GOING!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
