The Hawks Land in Boston

C's have acquired Xavier Tillman, who will bring toughness to the C's bench. He was brought in for two second round picks and Lamar we hardly knew ya Stevens. I'm guessing the C's aren't don't yet. Let's see because tomorrow is the trade deadline. No Jrue Holiday tonight...

1Q 🍀

C's have their work cut out for them, given how these Hawks can score. KP should be able to dominate down low tonight. C's are going to need to slow down Young. He tends to always give us fits. Al Horfords passing this season has been pretty effective. He's very cerebral when he's out there this season. C's need to tighten up on D. If not these Hawks can pop off and go for thirty a quarter. We have a back and forth game so far tonight. Hoping the C's will go on a run and grab a decent lead. We won't be seeing that run here in the first. C's trail after one.

2Q 🏀🏀

C's are making the Hawks pay for their turnovers. Al got the steal and brought it home for the JAM! Scal is yet again drooling over the oppositions players. Nobody cares about Trae Young, at least I don't! As far as I'm concerned he stole an all-star spot from Derrick White. Adam Silver gives two spots to guys on crap teams. Instead of rewarding the best team in the league. Payback will be served in the playoffs... As we watch tonight's game, we have to wonder what Brad will do before the deadline. We know he can find diamonds in the rough and also bring guys in who are looking to prove something. We all remember the trade for Derrick White and look at how that panned out. I don't believe the bench currently constructed is enough. There has to be a piece either thru trade or the buyout market that could impact this team. C's need to learn how to box out. Put a freaking body on someone! C's with the lead at the half.

3Q ☘️☘️☘️

JT needs to avoid shooting threes and just get to the damn rack! I don't think the C's will run away with this one tonight. It seems like it's going to be nip and tuck all game. Someone needs to let Trae Young know it's ok to get a haircut. C's can't grab any breathing room tonight. Given the fact these Hawks play no D, you would expect a bigger lead for the C's. Not tonight though! When KP attacked the post he's damn near unstoppable. These Hawks have no answer for him and his skill set. Seeing KP play on a regular basis has been a joy this season. C's lead after three...

4Q 🏀🏀🏀🏀

Derrick White hits a three and Mr 4th Quarter is ready to roll. He liked it so much he did it again! The man has ice water in his veins! He's got that DJ clutch gene that's for sure. Expect DWhite to make multiple winning plays come post season. Just as I'm typing this he hits yet another THREE! The man is CLUTCH! C's finally gave themselves some room on the scoreboard. Tonight was an overall pleasing game to watch. C's were balanced and kicked some butt in the paint. C's Win!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
