The Time Is Now

C's must bring everything to today's game. If they don't I'll be very disappointed. It starts on defense and then offense will follow. Time to man up!

1Q ☘️

KP opens up with the three, that's a good sign. Especially with how he played last game. Jrue to KP for the jam! KP for another three! Great players step up after bad games and that what KP is showing. C's must push the pace and make the Heat work on both ends. Run em into the ground! So far the Heat aren't playing above themselves, C's need to continue to contest every shot. No national broadcast for me as I enjoy Mike Gorman right now. Enjoy the greats while you still have them! JB with the loud follow up JAM! The offense has been slow up to this point. Gotta get settled and let everything flow. They need get Tatum going and allow him to facilitate. PP for the pure three! Sam needs to have a quality game tonight. C's with the lead but it should be more.

2Q 🍀🍀

I need a big C's run here in this second quarter. Way too many misses, the lead should and needs to be more. JT with the three! Great D by PP! Forces the turnover, followed up with a Hauser three! The C's are attacking that Heat zone. JT with ANOTHER THREE! PP is a dawg on the boards! JT is locking into tonight! Expect him to continue to take over this game. Personally I'm so over the Heat and Spo. It's time for Porzingis to give Bam a hard foul. This entire stinking Heat team is DIRTY. I dislike them with as much sports disgust as I do the Lakers. DWhite with the huge follow up off the missed free throw!! Refs are starting to make phantom calls for the heat. DWhite for three! The C's are here to fight and reclaim home court. C's with the lead, but I'm not satisfied.

3Q ☘️☘️☘️

C's need to come out for blood! KP for three!!! JB into the paint and no chance for the heat defense. C's need to keep up their aggression on D. C's must also continue to push this pace. C's shooting too many threes for my taste. JB on cue gets inside and scores! C's need to settle things and go on a run. I'm so tired of these refs not calling the heat for fouls. Hand checking White, moving screens and overall dirty play. C's with a decent lead, after a good third.

4Q 🍀🍀🍀🍀

C's need to execute all the way to the end. JT just punked Martin on the fall away. Liked it so much he did it to em again! He's en Fuego! Overall the C's lead with their D, which in turn led to good offense. This needs to be the template on Monday and Wednesday night. No more let ups and olay defense. C's answer the bell and bring home the win.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
