Oshae Brissett is reportedly declining his player option for the upcoming season and will test the market as a free agent.
Brissett signed a 2-year deal last summer, with the second season set at $2.5 million and with a player option. He will be looking for a bigger role and more money. His minutes in Boston last season were the lowest (11.5 MPG) since his rookie season.

Brissett will now be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
So now begins the off-season for the newly-crowned Champion Boston Celtics. Brissett's decision may be beneficial for a Boston team that is looking for low-cost bench players to complement its very-expensive core.
