NBA Finals Game 2

 Your Boston Celtics have grabbed a 2-0 series lead against the Dallas Mavericks. Despite shooting poorly from beyond the arc. Despite that they still found a way to win and to me that marks a great team. 

I love the fact the C's had more assists then Dallas. Defensively they had more steals and blocks. As I always say defense wins championships! C's despite having multiple turnovers, Dallas won that stat! C's had 21 points off of those turnovers. You must capitalize when your opponent gives you opportunities. Celtics may not have been lighting it up but they made their free throws and closed when they needed to. Jrue Holiday and Derrick White were the back court of destruction! Offensively they made the plays and on defense they were once again incredible! JT nearly had a triple double yet still doesn't get the calls like Luka. JB once again was nails on both ends. Most national fools I mean pundits will look at the Jays and say it wasn't enough. I disagree, those two trust their teammates and it shows. I'll take two unselfish stars over Luka and Kyrie. 

C's will need to be ready for game three, Dallas being at home will give their best on Wed. If the C's can weather the storm it's very possible we can go up 3-0. Have a great night Cs fans! We are half way home...

In defense of Marcus Smart

 Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official.
