C's Are Hunting Hawk

 First 🏀

C's are in their black uniforms with green trim. No JB tonight so other guys will need to step up. JT starts us off with two handed JAM! Jrue finds Queta for the JAM! This is his first start of Quetas career. First Portuguese player to start a game. Pretty damn impressive! JT is straight fire off the dribble. When he gets those handles going and nailing threes the other team better watch out.

Looks like X is going to be the first off the bench tonight. I am looking forward to what he can do in tonight's game. Als defense is intense and hasn't lost a step. Visiting his old stomping grounds in Atlanta. I remember the trouble he used to cause the Celtics back then. Thank goodness he's on our side now! Al yet again with another excellent defensive play.

C's ball movement has been excellent so far tonight! PP for three! He's going to need to pick up the slack tonight. I'm looking for about 15 to 20 points from him tonight. These Hawks are trash but are putting up a fight right now. C's need to stomp on their throats and not let up. JT just played some big boy basketball and gets the AND ONE! MVP! He's on a mission this season and the NBA better be on notice. Hey Golden State watch out on Wednesday night. C's lead at the end of the first by a score of 35-30.

Second 🍀☘️

C's are going to need a run here to put some space between them and the Hawks. PP with yet another three ball! C's D is lacking right now. We need to see them pick it up if they want any chance of winning tonight's game. C's have lost themselves and now the Hawks lead by three. You can't give dumpster fire teams life. Right now these Hawks think they belong on the same floor as the C's.

Out of the timeout the C's nail a three! DWhite is pure on those threes. I love the plays Joe schemes up during timeouts. He really puts the team where they need to be. Jrue Holiday making his presence felt. Finding Sam for the layup and nails his patented corner three! C's with the rebound and Jrue gets a few more in transition. I love watching Jrue Holiday play basketball. Definitely one of my favorite Celtics.

I mean the whole damn team consists of my favorite players in the league. There's no one on this roster I don't like. It's just a very lovable team especially given the fact they are CHAMPS! I'm still not very pleased with what I'm seeing on defense. They keep allowing the Hawks back in the game. I understand forty minutes is a lot. So there are ebbs and flows to each game. I just want this team to DOMINATE everyone.

JT just put young in the spin cycle. Nails a beautiful three and makes him look like a G leaguer. I knew from the moment we drafted him, he was gonna be a star. The season have parted like the Red Sea and DWhite JAMS it home! JT with another three!!! He's on FIRE! MY GOODNESS GET THAT MAN AN MVP TROPHY!

C's have extended the lead to fourteen. It would be wonderful if it reaches twenty plus. Queta is Mr Hustle! Diving on the ground and earning Tommy Points! That's the kinda play you expect from a Celtic. JT is having himself quite the incredible half of basketball. This young man has the ability to become an all time Great Celtic.

For all you bigs out there, watch how Queta gets himself into the right position out there. On both ends of the floor he's fundamentally sound. What a great defensive set by the C's there! That's championship D right there! C's did what I wanted and have extended this lead to twenty plus. Halftime score is 75-53.

Third 🏀🏀🏀

Here we are in the third quarter looking to build on this lead. Al opens us up at the line. Hawks can't hit anything right now. Unfortunately neither can the C's. It's a quarter of futility right now. Need the C's to get things going here.

DWhite for three! Love that man! What a read by Jrue getting to the rack and scoring. Being a great basketball player isn't only about talent. You need to have a high basketball IQ. This team has that intelligence. I was never the most athletic but I knew the game. C's have built this lead up to thirty two!

Queta has been blocking anything coming his way this season. Gotta love that play on D. Sam has been a much more willing driver to the cup this season. This time with the finger roll! C's with a comfortable lead at the end of the third. 103-75...

Fourth 🍀☘️🍀☘️

I'd love to see the Celtics execute here like it's a tight game. Interesting lineup out there right now. I love how creative Joe gets with his lineups. Gives guys a chance to play together who typically may not. Build that continuity on all fronts. Setting up having each player be seamless when they are put in the game.

C's continue to roll as the Hawks are cooked. C's look to exact some revenge on the Warriors and Steve Kerr on Wednesday. First for not putting JB on the Olympic team. Second for sitting JT at the Olympics. Talk about motivation! I expect the C's to absolutely destroy that warriors team. JT is gonna put on a clinic! C's with a run away victory!

C Us Rise! Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

Nineteen in Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
