C's welcome the Clippers to the Garden

As you can see I was right there from the start with the Jays! In other news... KP is back baby! Let's freaking Go!

☘️

Both the Clippers and Celtics come into tonight with five game winning streaks. Iron sharpens iron... I expect the C's to play with some passion and excitement given KP is back. C's by a million! Honestly we need the Celtics to set the pace tonight. Dig in on D and run in transition. Time to extend this win streak to six games.

C's are wearing those ugly uniforms tonight. I hope it doesn't cost em a win. KP for three! Welcome back Big fella! Not impressed by the Celtics D early on. I do love Derrick and Jrue both extending plays with effort on the boards. Its those extra possessions that add up in the end. Those two are in my top ten of favorite players in the league.

I can't stand James Hardens game its absolute trash. Leans into everyone, flops about the floor and just makes the game worse. He sucks! Great D by PP on him right there! C's three point shooting isn't going very well tonight. With that said JT for three!!! JT gets to the cup and scores again. Everything about JTs game is beautiful. Watching him we are watching greatness.

Jrue Holiday gets into the post and scores easily. He's unstoppable down low. He's so strong and stout physically. Clippers have no one to guard him honestly. I love Jrue! Queta just stuffed Harden! Thank you Neemie! C's with a lead!

 🍀🍀

Sam comes off the screen and scores! Sam's shot looks good tonight. PP for three and the super subs are rolling! Neemie with another block! He's a defensive warrior! Both Sam and Payton are making it rain inside the Garden. You need your subs to give the team a lift, and they certainly are! With KP back that strengthens the bench. We have a solid rotation of bigs. KP, Al, Luke, Queta and X. Pretty damn good huh?!

DWhite for three! His shot is so pure! Another one for DWhite! When he's on, you can't stop him. That trade Brad made to get him here, is very Red like. I tell ya if Red were here, he'd be damn proud of this team. It's a new NBA, but this team has that Red feel to them. The way they are built and how they exemplify Celtic Pride is evident. I truly believe this group gets how important it is to wear the Celtic green and white.

It's nice to hear Brad on the broadcast! Heck of a coach and great at his current gig. Neemie gets into the paint off that excellent pass and JAMS it home! C's are lighting it up from deep here in the second. Taking full advantage of their gifted players ability to light it up! Have I mentioned how gross these uniforms are?! I'll say it again, these uniforms are G R O S S!

JB for three!!! Beautiful ball movement from the C's! This team is extremely unselfish. JB is starting to cook! Chef Jaylen Brown with the And One! There's something beautiful when the basketball goes swish! Music to my ears folks. JT puts Zubac in the blender and finds JB for a corner bomb! Bing Bang Boom!

C's lead by twenty, let's push it to more! C's are humming tonight! Like a fine oiled machine! JT with the block on one end and a layup on the other. Now that's beautiful basketball right there. C's have hit seventy points already... Where is that vaunted Clipper defense??? Hey Van Gundy better get back in the lab and fix some things. KP has impacted this entire game. Love him! C's by a mile!

☘️☘️☘️

The way KP makes the C's better is just unreal. He doesn't look like he's missed a beat. He makes the offense flow and defensively he affects everything. Blocking shots, rebounding and just being an anchor down low. He's a bad man! I'm so happy to have him back, he's a Unicorn and game changer! Definitely another one of my favorite players!

KP has missed out on a few shots tonight, I think it's cuz he's so amped up. Would be nice if the C's could push this lead and let the subs play in the fourth. C's are cold right now, need to find the bottom of the cup. DWhite gets to the rim and gets hacked. Now we have a challenge... Zubac hammered him, yet Scal disagrees. Sometimes I'd like to tell Scal to zip it up. Man do I miss Tommy.

C's are as cold as ice... JT gets a dunk! I'll take credit for that score. KP gets no D Harden in a switch and scores. KP in another mismatch and draws the foul. I love how Joe has the C's attack the mismatches. Joe is miles above any other Coach out there. He continues to impress me with how much he's grown. The way he calls timeouts, the designed plays and his defensive scheme.

What a pass from JT to PP for three. He let the double team come and found his guy wide open. PP from about half court for three! Sam for three! The threes are coming from all directions! Now it's JTs turn! BOOM BABY BOOM! Clippers made a run but the C's punched back. Three quarters down and one to go.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

PP to KP for the JAM! Loving what I've seen tonight from the good guys. Solid play on both ends tonight. I tell you this if the C's stay healthy I full expect back to back titles. There's no team beating us in a series. Unless we beat ourselves. With the Jays at the helm the sky is the limit. We have the best defensive backcourt in the whole NBA. Plus we have Al and KP manning the middle.

After today the C's won't play until Friday. That week they have quite a stretch of games. Going up against the Cavs, Bucks and Heat just to name a few. Five games in seven nights will definitely test their fortitude. I expect nothing but their best. I think we are gonna see the bench getting emptied as we are rolling this weak Clipper team. The Celtics win streak is at six, and the  clippers win streak has disappeared like it never existed. C's Win!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! C Us Rise! Nineteen in Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
