My Kind of town Chicago

C's are in Chi town to take on Da Bulls.

 🏀
C's are at full strength tonight. No one on the injury report. C's may be on the outside looking in for the NBA cup... Personally who cares! I just want the win because at the end of the day, winning rules. C's must establish themselves early on here. Let's play tough D and push the pace.

KP opens us up with a deep three! A bomb from beyond the arc. This basketball floor is a red mess. These cup floors are just awful. C's haven't found their rhythm yet, maybe some lag coming off turkey day. Yet they have an early five point lead. What a joke the Bulls have become since MJ left. When you let the Goat walk out of the door, bad things happen. Just look at the Patriots.

KP and DWhite running some sweet sets right here. C's have increased their lead to nine. KP with the show and go jams it home! The unicorn has unlocked this offense. It's so good having him back! We need him healthy all year! Especially in the playoffs. This Bulls team plays absolutely no defense. Which is fine by me.

C's are on fire from deep right now! They are firing on all cylinders right now! Like their at the gun range and nailing all the targets. C's lead after the first.

🏀🏀

C's aren't playing any D right now... C's however are moving the ball exceptionally well. C's need to lock in on D. Joes calls the timeout as the C's lead has evaporated. They aren't putting the work in right now. That first quarter came pretty easy. Now they must get their hands dirty and start throwing some punches out there. This Bulls team is garbage.

Sam can't hit the front side of a barn right now. C'mon man get your shot together please. Why is JB hanging out behind the arc. I need him in the post using that physique of his to body up the Bulls defenders. KP is back in the game and JB finds him. Two shots at the line for the Unicorn. So far the C's have some very balanced scoring which epitomizes their team concept.

C's are allowing the bulls to get what they want here. There's no defense at all. I can't believe the C's are trailing to this team. Better figure it out or they are going to take the loss tonight. They must trim this deficit before the end of the quarter. KP uses his size and scores inside. I love seeing him down on the block. That's where bigs belong!

C's with a great response to the Bulls lead. Which is now GONE! Zach Lavine Sucks... C's have some exactly what a I wanted overall here to close this quarter. C's own the paint right now. It's like they have started to build the foundation of a home there. It's all tied at the half. Defense is optional...

🏀🏀🏀

C's must come out here in the third and lock in. Time to get dirty on D, no more easy buckets. Hit someone if you have to... Make this lazy Bulls team earn every basket right now. The Bulls don't want to put the work in. C's must out work them on both ends. If they do so this game will be a wrap. It just takes one knockout punch and it's nighty night. It's gotta be a Prime Mike Tyson type punch here.

I would love to see Jrue get his offense going here. JT with the offensive board which he quickly sent to JB for THREE! C's are getting screwed right now but the refs. Tatum gets hacked, and no call. On the other end KP gets a phantom whistle of that bum Lavine. Sorry but that guy in my opinion is overrated.

Goodness gracious, what a garbage start overall. No freaking defense at all, C's better wake the heck up. You can't be losing to teams like this. Especially with how the Cavs accrued so many wins already. C's come out of the timeout going to the cup. JT to the line, now it's time for D.

JT with a sweet block right there! On the other end he drives and goes off glass plus one! Time to take this momentum and do something with it. Like go on a huge run and send these Bulls to the showers. Great D by Al right there. PP with great D as well. Followed up by JT for three! Money!

Scal sucks! For once can he be just a good color guy? What am I saying... He stinks! PP on the nasty step back right there. Sam making all the hustle plays right now! Saves the possession and the C's score! Jrue puts the Bulls defense in the wash cycle and scores. That was smooth like a shot of aged whiskey. So smooth you would ask for another!

C's are able to expose the weak Bulls D inside the paint. C's have needed every basket JT has scored tonight. He's been awesome overall.

🏀🏀🏀🏀

C's get screwed out of a point here in the fourth. What a crock! Queta in, and makes his presence felt. Saves the possession and JB scores. That was huge! C's trail yet again because they just don't want to play D.

Off the timeout PP nails a three! Great set right there! Great call Joe! PP AGAIN FOR THREE!!! PP takes Giddy off the dribble and takes his lunch money. JAYLEN BROWN WITH THE JORDAN LIKE JAM THAT JUST BROKE THE BULLS! That DUNK hurt the rims feelings. My GOODNESS! Good golly miss molly I love loud thunderous dunks!

C's with a slim lead right now... PP damn near falls and still hits the three! He is ballin tonight! So much so he wins the jump ball! PP for three AGAIN! pP abuses Vucivuc and scores inside. PP from deep AGAIN! He's EN FUEGO! What PP is doing here in the fourth is absolutely incredible. You have to love this kid. I know I have since the day they drafted him. Keep feeding him the rock Joe!

KP with the DEEP three off the dribble as the clock expires! That was straight NASTY! Dude is unreal! C's get careless and turn the ball over. Come on guys finish strong! Too many lapses and the lead is only three. Joe calls the timeout. JT with the two hand JAM! Jrue for three! Money! C's push the lead to eight with that shot!

Kudos to Joe for wearing his cross on his shirt. I tell ya this, some NBA players must watch how soccer players over embellish flops. Man up! KP to the line with a chance to just about seal this win. Ice in his veins from the line. Man do I love seeing Sam Cassell get into his defensive stance on the sidelines. Clutch player! For both the Rockets and Us! C's win!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! C Us Rise! Nineteen in Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
