Back at it in the Garden

C's welcome the Chicago Bulls to the TD Garden. It's time for us to run over the Bulls tonight. No Sam Hauser as he's dealing with back spasms.

 ☘️

C's need to come out and land some knockout punches. Don't allow the Bulls to have any life in tonight's game. Knock em out early! C's have their entire starting five in tact. It feels like the Celtics haven't played in forever. Hopefully they are fresh and ready to ball out. My prediction, if the C's move the ball and play it's a wrap.

It's nice to see the C's in their white and green home uniforms. JB gets inside and scores our first two points. JT scores the second two as he glides inside. C's should be able to get whatever they want in the paint tonight. C's are cold on offense. Until JB goes to the cup with the lefty layup. I like what I'm seeing from the Jays. I love those two! After a few more rings their numbers will hang in the rafters.

C's need to settle things down and attack the paint. The threes will come, but I want them to dominate inside. Al is in and we have the double big line up. The looks we are getting are decent, but aren't falling right now. PP off the out of bounds play nails the three! Kid is cash money! He's definitely winning sixth man of the year and should be in the conversation for most improved player of the year.

We get an early dose of Jaden Springer tonight. I am personally excited to see him get some run. There he is securing the rebound. Man can he get up there! Kid is so athletic and looks great. I remember in Philly and he showed flashes. Maybe this will spur him, and earn him more minutes. I prefer him over Walsh.

It's a little too tight for me right now, but I sense a C's run coming. C's by a few after the first.

☘️☘️

Springer is everywhere early on! PP diving on the floor earning Tommy points! Loving C's basketball right now! I absolutely love when our guys are Dawgs on the floor. Giving up their bodies and making those effort plays! C's D has been pretty stout at the glass tonight. As I always say defense wins championships.

Al and KP have been returning shots back to sender! They are a two headed monster in the middle. Both are also weapons on offense. Each guy can post you up or hit from deep. They are both such well rounded players and they are all ours! I love how they are using them this season. Managing their minutes and making sure they stay fresh and healthy.

Jrue Holiday has been and to get in the paint at will. He knows how to use his rock of a body and gets there effortlessly. He's such a wiley veteran and has a high basketball IQ. His play is like a smooth glass of whiskey. I absolutely love him!

Great job by the C's taking advantage of the mismatch. In no basketball world can Lonzo Ball guard KP. Have I ever said how much I dislike Lavine. Dude just puts up empty stats and that's it. I would never want him on my team. C's are not going to win playing like this. Allowing this garbage team to stay close, isn't in my game plan. Timeout Joe as he's not happy with what's going on.

I'm hoping after this timeout we get the C's ready for blood. Time to go on a run fellas! C's are really starting to pin point the mismatches and expose the Bulls. KP is unstoppable inside tonight. Keep feeding the big fella, he's hungry and ready to eat. What a pass from JB to DWhite! That was Elite! C's on a mini run right now and I'm loving it! C's lead at the half.

☘️☘️☘️

I really want to see the Celtics put some distance between them and the Bulls. I love the C's defense and their ability to expose the Bulls inside. Attacking the mismatches will be a key in this third. If we continue on this defensive path we should end up winning.

Time for the C's to jump all over the Bulls. Jrue posting up White should happen all game. JB to JT for three! Beautiful! DWhite with the block! I love everything he does on defense! Derrick and Jrue are the best backcourt in the NBA! They are both like Swiss army knives. They each do everything necessary to win. Tommy would love this duo.

Joe wearing his cross as we approach Christmas day. I love our Coach! He is who he is and you have to admire that. What a pass from JT to JB for the And One! I love seeing these two feed each other the rock. JB is starting to take advantage of the mismatches. No one Chicago has can guard him. He's a beast especially when he attacks the cup. Full head of steam and ya better get out of his way!

C's just can't get any real separation from the Bulls. I'm hoping they put together a quality run here. Tony Brothers sucks... That's for Tommy! This Bulls team is garbage. PP with a big three! Followed up by a JT three! C's with the lead.

☘️☘️☘️☘️

Springer is back in and expect him to make some quality plays. C's need to freaking rebound right now. Giving away points at the moment. Jrue to JB is something that can done again and again. Somehow the C's are screwing up their defensive assignments and now trail. We have a timeout by Joe and we really need a spark.

Great D by Springer right there. He's making the most of his time tonight. With this performance he deserves more run in the next few games. I'd put him over Walsh on the depth chart.

C's need to really buckle down right now. Especially on defense. Great D by JT which leads to JB for three! DWhite with the interception! Great steal by DWhite right there. He's always making the clutch plays. Joe gets a T for absolutely no reason. That ref is awful! BOGUS! What a load of crap! Another T  this time on JB. I'm gonna lose it with these awful calls. Those calls may have just cost us the game. This is a reason why ratings suck in the NBA.

This game is absolutely awful given how the refs decided they are bigger than the game. Not Tatum gets a T... Unreal and absolutely disgusting. The fix is in tonight and this game is over. Why watch when the refs take over games like this. C's lose and these refs should be ashamed of themselves.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
