C's get shafted In Orlando

☘️

C's have their line up of studs minus JT tonight. No one is better than this starting five even without JT. Give me them in any seven game series and they are bringing it home. No team in the NBA has enough to beat us. Only we can beat ourselves. I'm fully confident the C's are winning the title this season barring any injuries. I still need more fire power added to the bench but our Super Six are incredible. Then you add PP and Sam I Am and it's watch out!

I'm hoping to see some good ball movement and tight defense. JB needs to take over this game in every aspect and lead by example. JB gets the first basket and first assist of the game. I'm looking at Jrue and Derrick to have very solid games. Their skill sets will compliment what JB will bring tonight. So far everyone is contributing on the offensive end.

C's are breaking down on defense early on. That can't and shouldn't be happening. Joe may need a timeout here to get them refocused. After my words hit the paper Jrue steals the ball! C's are in transition and DWhite nails a three! I knew the dynamite duo would step up! Love those guys! Trading for both of them was like getting awesome Christmas presents back to back years.

Nice to see Sam back out there, and he and PP are a double headed monster from deep. I can't wait for them to start splashing some threes from deep. Man when I see PP stop and start and shoot it's a thing of beauty. I'm loving the C's defense right now. Getting their hands on the rock and deflecting passes. Defense wins championships!

I'm loving the team effort on both ends right now. It's only the first, but I want to see it all four quarters. With that said I love their aggressiveness tonight. C's lead after the first.

🏀🏀

Overall the first quarter has shown that the C's can win short handed. JB has lead by example out there. I'm pretty impressed by Luke and his ability to be in the right spots. He's a very heady basketball player. On the eve of Christmas Eve I am reminded of when my Mom passed away. The Celtics that year and every year since have given me a great outlet to write about who I love. Mom always had a soft spot for the C's and her Boston teams.

I like the way both Derrick and Jrue are driving to the cup. KP with the block out of no where! I love how he protects the rim! Get it out! KP is simply just a menace on D. Whether he's blocking shots or making guys adjust theirs, KP changes the game. He's truly the key to unlocking this Celtics juggernaut. Trading for him took guts and it's worked out so damn well.

C's are getting hacked and manhandled and no calls. These refs absolutely suck! I hope they wake up and make the right calls. Al for three! Al is Mr consistent, and I'm glad he's ours. Even at his age, he's still playing at a high level. He's the rudder that steadies the ship. C's D has been pretty stout and are holding these Magic down right now. I'm loving how Al is killing it down low.

When Jrue and Derrick play the two man game it's unstoppable. They just work so well off of and with each other. I'm overall satisfied with the first half. C's with a decent sized lead that I need doubled in the third.

☘️☘️☘️

C's have been very stout in the first half on defense. Let's see if they can continue that here in the second half. Offensively they missed some shots but still have a decent lead. If they start hitting those shots they could be up by thirty.

For everyone who reads our pieces, what are some of your Christmas traditions. I know for me it starts with God, family and watching the C's! It's crazy to think that the Magic franchise once has Shaq and almost won a championship. That Magic team that had Shaq, Penny, Nick Anderson and Dennis Scott was pretty awesome. Imagine if Shaq stayed what they could have done... Is it me or did the Magic win the final game at the original Garden.

C's are killing it in the paint. These past two games they are making an effort to show they can. Jrue Holiday makes the plays that matter. He chases down the offensive rebound and gets the C's an extra possession. C's are very flat and have lost most of their lead. Nothing is falling right now. C's need to right the ship. Get it to Al or KP in the post.

DWhite from DEEP! Love it! It's awesome that Joe has encouraged DWhite to be aggressive and take his shots. I was going through my basketball cards the other day and I found a Derrick White rookie card. That was from a pack my mom bought me. That rookie lives in my bar with the rest of the C's cards I have. KP with another Huge Block! He said get that weak shot out of here.

Msn these refs suck. A call on KP and JB that are absolutely bogus. Refs want the Magic in this game. JB with the two handed JAM! HE JUST BROKE THAT RIM. That rim must be wondering what it did to deserve such pain. It's not your fault it's the refs. Given the fact the C's are getting called for ticky tack calls JB said ok watch this! I love seeing aggressive JB dunk. Dunking angry is so much better than watching guys chuck threes.

C's need to go on a run and show the Magic who they are. I'm not liking what's going on now. KP is coming back in and we need him. I can't stand listening to Scal. The way he drools over other teams players is sickening. This damn game is tied and I'm getting frustrated. C's get it to KP in the post and he gets to the line.

If it wasn't for KP getting to the line we would be down. This game went from comfortable to crap really quickly. It's all tied after three...

🏀🏀🏀🏀

These freaking refs just want to give the game to the magic. Time to get Jaylen back in the game. C's are getting railroaded by these calls. I really don't know what to say but this game sucks right now.

JB needs to take this game over and lead this team to victory. C's grab the board and Jrue hits a three in transition. Need some more of that from him if we are going to pull this one out. Going to need Derrick White to hit a few shots too.

JB is cooking but he needs help. C's D needs to step up. I'm disgusted with this game and these refs. C's just can't catch a break. It feels like a loss to me. Insanity ensues when refs suck like this crew does. C's lose. Awful officials tonight.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics.
