C's welcome the Pacers

 ☘️

C's will be without KP and Jrue Holiday. C's must play freaking defense tonight. Move the ball and punch these Pacers in the face. Sam is in the starting line up and Al is ready to steady the ship. C's post up Al early on, he doesn't score but I like the idea. JT gets us in the board and is looking at an And One. We get an excellent offensive possession that ends in a Derrick White three!

C's three point shooting sucks lately... With that said JB for three! Sam's shot is way off tonight. He's put up enough bricks to build me a new house. We have a timeout on the floor. Overall the defense has been decent. I still want to see the elite D we played last season. I will say the effort is there and that's what I wanted to see tonight. I don't about anyone else who played basketball growing up, but defense was always something I put the effort towards. When you could take someone's cookies on D is was a great feeling.

JB with the THUNDEROUS JAM! Derrick White hits the three off of excellent ball movement again! NOW That's CELTIC BASKETBALL! That kind of ball movement is pure beauty. Basketball is the quintessential team game and when it's played that way it's wonderful! C's are on FIRE! JB has fifteen points early on and the C's lead by seventeen.

I think we need an alternate broadcast. One that's more home based beyond Scal and Drew. I want one where you do it from a fans perspective. I would trash the other team as much as I could. I would also load up on loving and complimenting my team. C's lead by seventeen after the first.

🍀🍀

Last season the C's lost their first back to backs in November. I'm not totally happy with losing back to back games, but they were the last team to do it and all the way into December. With that said they have to make up a bit of ground if they want that first seed. Honestly I don't feel they need it. This team can go on the road and beat anyone, especially those frauds in Cleveland.

Tonight it feels like all hands on deck. Walsh, Springer and Kornet have all played early on. I wonder if Queta will get some run tonight?? Maybe X? I really would like to have them both get their hands dirty and get out there. Right now the C's are a bit cold on offense. On D they are still playing at a high level. PP with the block on TJ. I love seeing him play D! The kid is all confidence and it shows on the floor.

JB has been named the sports illustrated player of the year! A well deserved honor for an incredible player! I loved JB the day he was drafted! I saw his first two dunks as a Celtic in Amherst Ma! We just saw two incredible dunks from him. I love how he wants to hurt the rim! He's having a heck of a game tonight! The grave digger is burying guys tonight!

You can really see a lot of effort by the C's using that zone. It could end up being a defensive weapon for them. It's been used against them in the past. C's lead at the half by twenty two.

☘️☘️☘️

I'd love to C the C's come out and put the Pacers on their rumps. Put em to bed early and prepare for Sunday evening. Run the starters for the third and then get the rest in to handle the entire fourth. These Pacers are ripe to give up. With that said expect them to come to play on Sunday. We know how dangerous this Pacers team can be.

Kudos to JT for his mastery of the double double! Joining the Hall of Fame Larry Joe Bird who did it in the nineties. That's pretty incredible company, and shows how special JT is. I honestly feel JT will become an all time Celtic and eventually crack the top fifty all time players in the NBA. He just needs a few more rings. Which is something I feel he will do with these Celtics.

Way too many threes to start this third quarter. C's must regroup and attack the cup, or hit their threes. Back to back possessions with JT and JB hitting threes. The C's ball movement is still looking elite. They just need to knock down a few more shots. C's are building that momentum and building towards destroying the Pacers.

I'd take games like this over losing any day of the damn week. This game just shows how good the C's are and can be. At the drop of a hat they can destroy any NBA team. This lead is teetering on thirty! Yes I know Indy is coming off a road trip but you still have to play the game. What's crazy is when the C's came off playing five games in seven days they looked much better than Indy does right now. Even though they lost to the Grizzlies that game. C's lead by a mile after the third.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

Isn't it something when you come out and give effort on defense. From the jump we saw the Celtics tighten the screws on D. These Pacers never really had a chance. I'm not saying I expected this lopsided of a game, but I knew the C's were gonna be ready. I just hope they save some for Sunday.

How do our readers feel about the Celtics bench? Should the C's be looking for additional help? Would you rather see them give more run to guys like X, Springer and Walsh? Personally I have no real value associated with Walsh. I think he may be a miss on Stevens part drafting him. X and Springer are both guys I want to see get more run. With that said I feel they need help. Trade away Walsh and go get Walker. Lonnie is straight balling in whatever European country he's playing in.

C's win going away tonight! I want this win to be the start of a huge win streak. How about we reel off about ten games in a row!

Celtic Pride! C Us Rise! Bleed Green! Nineteen in Green!

I would like to remember the great Greg Gumbel who passed away today. No one is guaranteed tomorrow.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet.
