Return of the Celtics!

🍀

Thursdays game left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope the Celtics felt the same. C's must punch these Bulls in the face early on. Bulls are wearing some ugly uniforms. C's are off to a five point lead and must continue to build on it. Congrats to Jrue Holiday on playing in his one thousandth game. Shows you how damn good he's been over his career to last this long.

So far we see a concerted effort of the C's getting in the paint. A place they can clearly dominate in tonight. Bulls have no interior presence. C's aren't getting any benefit of the whistle early on. I can't say I'm surprised. NBA refs are absolutely horrible overall. Just like the NFL refs who gifted the Chiefs multiple calls.

I'm never going to get used to Scal, he stinks and thinks he knows it all. I miss Tommy so very much. I think JB can have himself a night especially in the paint. I'm waiting for the C's to go on a run here. They have about three minutes to get some space between them and the Bulls. I still stick by my comments about Lavine. A guy who puts up empty stats and is a losing player.

C's have only hit a few threes but I like how they are attacking the rim. C's have had a pretty balanced offensive attack. We are all tied after the first.

🍀🍀

KP hits a deep three to get us started. He's got ten early points for us tonight. I love when he gets going. KP can do it from anywhere on the floor. KP is very underrated as a passer as well. He sees the floor really well for a big. Defensively he's a game changer, and opposing teams fear going inside.

Luke earns the C's an extra possession and finds PP for three. Luke just knows where to be on the floor. He's a high IQ player. He creates space on the floor when he's out there. JT is starting to slowly get cooking. He's like that homemade pasta sauce that's simmering and will eventually cook into excellence.

C's need to buckle down these last few minutes. Try to create some space between them and the Bulls. It all starts on defense. String a few stops together and the offense will come. KP is back in and I expect him to have a huge impact. Great D by the C's right now. The lead is at ten, and let's keep it that way. C's are running in transition and I'm loving it! These Refs suck by the way. C's lead at the half.

🍀🍀🍀

I love how the C's have attacked the paint in the first half. They have also made the effort to crash the offensive glass. Defensively they have shown flashes but still need to be more consistent. Key here is coming out of the gates ready to rock. As the great Al Bundy used to say... Let's Rock!

C's come out and are making plays at the rim on D. KP gets the rock at the three and drives it home with the two handed JAM! I would love to see much more of that tonight. The Bulls offer no resistance in the paint. Clearly they don't value playing defense. On a separate note some of these players shoes are U G L Y. Just like those Bulls uniforms.

We have a timeout for a review, I guarantee it's goes against the C's. What did I say... Great inside out from JB to Jrue for three! That was some pretty basketball! The JB to JT Slam is beyond beautiful! C's are getting everything they want on offense. Defensively they need to clean some things up.

C's are doing what it takes on the glass tonight. PP has been a menace on the glass. Grabbing back to back offensive boards on the same possession. That kid is special! I love how much effort he gives. Kid has absolutely no fear out there. What a steal he was in a draft a few years ago.

OMG!!! JT just sent the rim into shock. That one handed JAM was pure aggression! Followed up by the deep three! He just made that guy with the glasses look like a fool! I believe that poor guy has been posterizd by both of the Jays! In yo FACE! C's with the lead!

🍀🍀🍀🍀

Can we talk about that third quarter JT had! That was an MVP like performance. He was simply incredible! He's the best damn player in the NBA. You can take the field, I'm sticking with JT. He's my ride or die! Loved the kid prior to them drafting him, and I despise Duke. Sorry JT...

KP to PP to Al for three! That's Celtics Basketball! So unselfish! These bulls aren't playing off their butts like they did on Thursday. I love seeing KP and Al out here together. Talk about a two headed monster! C's are up by twenty five as Donovan calls a timeout. Not that's how you respond after a bad loss.

You have to love seeing Cs fans in Chicago. Especially the younger generation and wearing Larry Bird jerseys. Kudos to JT on the triple double and scoring forty points tonight! He's en Fuego! C's win!

Celtic Pride! C Us Rise! Bleed Green! Nineteen in Green!

Check out these two shirts I bought for my wife.

Thanks to DR Naismith as we celebrate World Basketball Day!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet.
