We venture into enemy territory

C's are in Cleveland for a Sunday showdown with the Cavs. It's a matchup of the top teams in the East. We have no JB or DW, both are out with an illness.

 ☘️

As we enter tonight's game, I'm reminded with the fact I don't like the Cavs at all. For so many reasons which go back to the end of Larry Birds playing career. All those playoff series vs Leflop, plus this current team just does nothing for me. Well it's tipoff time and we need a signature game from JT. Al and Sam enter the starting lineup, which will be key to our success.

JT gets to the cup, gets hacked and no call. A preview of things to come? I truly hope these refs are fair tonight. C's can't hit the front side of a barn right now. An absolute garbage start for the C's. Who have no energy whatsoever tonight. JT tried to get KP involved, which is a great idea. KP gets behind the arc and scores from deep. Finally we are on the damn board! JT goes deep himself and I'm getting some warm feelings right now.

C's get their ball movement going and Al nails the corner three! Sam Hauser earns the Tommy point saving the possession. He finds KP for the three! Bang! KP in the paint off the pass from Jrue and we are right back in this game. Let's go fellas! Time to take this Cavs team over your knee and spank em!

Shout-out to Joe for yet again wearing his cross on his shirt. KP with yet another money bucket over the out of shape Niang. PP is in and guess what he scores. I love that kid and his confidence in himself. PP just put Garland in the spin cycle and nails the three. Kid is MONEY! He's going to win sixth man of the year and he deserves it!

Joe with the timeout as the C's have a lapse defensively. Gotta do better than that. Especially with the way this Cavs team jacks shots up. C's D up with the Kornet block! I love how JT is attacking the rim tonight. JT is incredibly gifted on all fronts. C's trail after the first...

🍀🍀

I'm telling these refs aren't going to give the C's any calls tonight. KP with a deep three! Needed that one folks! C's offense hasn't been good tonight. Someone needs to get things going. Jrue gets hacked and no call... Mark these down a long the way and see how the refs are gonna screw us.

C's just don't have it tonight. Say goodbye to that winning streak. Their shooting sucks right now and missing White and Brown is starting to add up. Wouldn't it be nice if the C's had a guy like Lonnie Walker tonight?! I expect the C's to find a roster spot for him come March...

Peterson for three! That's what he does well. PP gets called on that Phantom call. Mark that down folks... JT gets to the cup and scoops it with the left. What was that I see a call for JT?! Refs call Al for a foul that wasn't even there... JT gets hacked and no call... C's are just a few made shots away from being in the lead.

Sam for three! Huge shot even though it's early on here in the second. JT with the finger roll off some nifty dribbling right there. Al gets the loose ball and scores the three! C's are in the lead... Let's Go! C's are playing with some grit and balls tonight. Not giving up on themselves despite missing so many shots.

It would be nice if the C's can go on a sustained run to close out the quarter.  Tatum gets hacked and no call again. Jrue finally scores off the glass! C's trail at the half.

☘️☘️☘️

JT opens us up with a three! C's need to D up. Hit someone if you have to out there. I wish the game wasn't so soft. Need a Kevin McHale type hit right now. KP for three! C's are hitting their shots and have a good rhythm going. Timeout from the Cavs as we own the third. C's know they can beat this team and are playing like it.

C's are a run away from blowing this game wide open. JT gets the rock and gets hacked again. Sam for three and here we go! Al with the BLOCK! C's D is definitely putting the screws to em and their offense is starting to hum. I need to see this defensive intensity the rest of the game. JT is starting to take over right now. Future MVP of the league.

Sam for THREE! Timeout Cavs... KP just picked on the Pastry chef Niang. Goes off glass which means the bank is open! PP gets called for an offensive foul... Mark it down folks. Oh my the C's go greenlight special and it gets overturned. I guess the refs had no choice given the video evidence. PP is going to the line!

JT with the shimmy shake fade away! Very Jordan like right there. This Cavs PA guy SUCKS! Just shut it bro what are you having roid rage? JT hits a huge three from WAY DOWNTOWN! C's need to close this quarter out with force. Luke with a huge BLOCK! Luke uses the force and plays incredible D on Mobley. Let's Go! JT with another Jordan like shot that goes nothing but Net! C's win the third and own the lead!

🍀🍀🍀🍀

KP must be the man here in the fourth while JT is out. PP strips Mobley, that was freaking Money! C's offense is sputtering with out JT. PP makes the Cavs do look like Swiss cheese with all those holes. Drives and scores like lightning from the Greek God Zeus. He does it again! He cooks Jerome like a Thanksgiving turkey.

An actual whistle goes the C's way as KP gets mauled. You have to love seeing Sam Cassell getting in PPs ear and guiding him during the game. PP from DEEP! Love love love the way he has no fear out there. He's got ice water running through his veins! I totally loved when they drafted him. I remember watching him cook for Oregon and make some huge shots.

Tatum gets the steal goes to the cup and gets hacked. I didn't hear or see a call on that... NBA refs are AWFUL! C's need to settle down and get a good offensive set. JT hits a beautiful midrange jumper. C's need to D the heck up. So far JT has made huge shot after huge shot. We have a timeout here as the lead is only two. I guarantee Joe comes out of this timeout with a great play.

It was a great set but Als shot didn't fall. KP forces the foul on the Cavs though. KP HUGE BOARD AND GETS IT TO JRUE! PP posts up and scores! C's with the ball as the game is tied. Tatum goes to the cup gets fouled and no call. C's lose. I told you the refs would find a way to screw us.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
