A Sunday Matinee

 ☘️

C's are out to a nice start on the offensive end. We need to keep pushing the pace and getting to the line. That Jrue Holiday turn around was pure! C's are moving in transition and getting to the cup. What an outlet from JT to Jrue for the layup! That's beautiful Celtics basketball right there. All five Celtics starters have scored here.

Most overrated player in the NBA is Sir Flops A Lot Brunson. I stand by that statement 100 percent. His game reminds me of that flopper James Harden. I have no respect for either of their games. You can throw the entire Knicks roster in that category as well! Except for KAT, but he's a choker. There's a reason why people look down on the NBA and certain players and load management contribute to that. I miss the days where guys like MJ, Larry and Magic gave their entire physical bodies to basketball.

This Knicks team isn't a threat to anyone in the NBA. Just look at how the Cavs crushed them. Amongst how we have twice this season. This Knicks team is just a straight FUGAZZI! JT with the ONE HANDED HAMMER JAM! Timeout Knicks as the C's are owning them. Tatum looks very good early on today. Love that young man! Sam I Am is lighting it up! JT again to the cup with authority and gets hacked. JT is THE MAN! Showing the Knicks they don't belong in this court with him. C's have a nice lead after one.

🍀🍀

What a steal by Jrue to end that first, I just can't get over it. Jrue with another excellent steal this time against KAT. C's need to lock in on D. Jrue locks down KAT again! Jrue Holiday is a defensive Master out there. He can guard anyone no matter the position they play. He's a defensive swiss army knife. Off the timeout the C's get a great set getting KP vs the smaller guy. And One!

KP with the BLOCK! Never stop hustling young ones. Always give Max effort and plays like that happen. JB just up and man handled Shamut. Totally posted him up and wasn't giving the rock up until he scored on him. That dude doesn't belong on the floor with JB. JB tries to take Brunson and flops like Leflop right there. What a damn clown!

DWhite just cut up the entire Knicks D. So many holes in their D it looks like Swiss cheese. DWhite for three! Cash Money! C's with the incredible D which leads to. Tatum JAM! This Knicks team does nothing but complain. I'm sorry you aren't that good as a team and need the refs. Al has been called for two horrible calls, despite making the blocks. JT owns the Knicks plain and simple. C's lead at the half.

☘️☘️☘️

C's need to put together two more sold quarters here and we will win going away. Push the pace and Defend! Don't allow Sir Flops A lot to get away with that weak crap. Pretty sad he was voted an All Star starter. C's better not allow them back into this game. Joe is a mad man and I love it. DWhite as the shot clock expires nails the three! JT to JB for the fast break lay in!

There was a similar play in the first half from JB to JT and now JT has repaid the debt! For all those fools who try to put a wedge between these two is foolish. They love each other and it shows on the floor. C's have the guys to execute the perfect defensive plan against both Kat and Flops A Lot. C's need a good run here in the third and they can rest guys in the fourth. If they so choose to do.

C's with EXCELLENT ball movement that ends with a Jrue three. I can't believe how pathetic this Knicks team is vs actual good teams. This Knicks team will be lucky to get out of the first round. Josh Hart is the worst actor of all time. Jrue barely touches him and he flopped like got shot out of a cannon. Dude is a clown! Time for the C's to land some knockout punches here.

Joe calls a timeout as the C's D is playing very lax right now. I hope he rips them a new one. They need to wake up and close this quarter the right way. Where is the damn offense all of a sudden. This has been a bad second half to the third quarter. C's better make up for it in the fourth.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

Huge three pointer by DWhite as the shot clock expires. Not very happy with their lack of focus in that third. DWhite with another huge three! He's Mr Fourth Quarter! White to KP with the one handed JAM! THAT WAS AWESOME OFF THE INBOUNDS PLAY! I want to say that in the third the C's had a lack of attack and their offense and defense had lapses. Here in the fourth it seems as if Joe has them frothing at the mouth.

C's with a fourteen point lead, it's time to close this out with a few knockout punches. There's one! JT to JB for the corner bomb ! A four on one for the Knicks ends in Derrick White fending them off! JT for three! C's are right there with ending this game. Good timeout by Joe with about four minutes to go. I'm guessing his message is go for the throat! Hit the nails in the coffin! Bury em while they cold!

This entire Knicks team must practice team flopping. Anytime there is any contact these guys drop to the court. The only way this Knicks team has any shot vs us is if we implode. DWhite hits the three the lead is back in the twenties and we are rolling to a win!

Celtic Pride! C Us Rise! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
