Looking for 4 in a row

 ☘️

Once again Marcus Smart has been traded. This time by the Memphis Grizzlies. Bad news with the fact that Tony Brothers is doing the game tonight. C's might be in a dog fight with the refs tonight. Who is available for the C's who have two roster spots open after the trade of Jayden Springer. I'm hoping for Lonnie Walker to be the guy we tap on the shoulder.

Let's Go Celtics! They are wearing their hideous alternative uniforms tonight. They should burn those jerseys and never wear them again! KP opens us up at the line after the C's exposed the Mavs. KP hits the three from deep and he's on already. Great job by Derrick to force the turnover on the other end. C's defense isn't engaged right now. They better shape up or they will suffer.

JB is starting to light the fire as he does in first quarters. Early timeout for Joe as they aren't exerting effort on D. Let's hope off of the timeout they do what needs to be done. They need to hit some guys with a few hard fouls. C's are missing some quality shots. Shame on Kyrie for saying he was grieving the trade of Luka. Fool! I just lost my stepfather, so that is when you grieve. DWhite for three! He's looking good tonight. I don't like what's going on now defensively. Mavs are making way too many shots.

I really hope the C's start to play better defense. This isn't the first quarter I envisioned. Great move by JT bulldozing the defender. Awful first quarter.

🍀🍀

C's are coming off a big win and now they look like garbage. Down by nine to this garbage Mavs team is aggregious. Yet again I question why am I watching this damn team. Playing down to the level of this Mavs team. It shows right now they aren't taking them seriously. Hopefully they wake up if not just put all the subs in and call it a loss

C's are doing anything right now that's cut into this lead. Fans pay their hard earned money and this is the result right now. Disgusting! You wait all day to watch this team and they crap the bed. Sleep walking for most of the regular season.Defense is absolutely awful tonight. I'm not pleased at all with this first half. They better reexamine themselves and have a heck of a third quarter.

☘️☘️☘️

C's have signed Torrey Craig. Is there anyway we can get him in now so he can play defense. C's need to clean up their turnovers here in the third. They also need to limit the Mavs fast break points.

This quarter hasn't been any better from the first two. The entire game has been hard to stomach. Unwatchable for the most part. Honestly you can't take the first half of the regular season seriously. I'm surprised to see the Celtics are only three which will be four games off their pace from last season at this point.

I'm not pleased at all with what I've seen tonight or this early part of the season.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

Not much I can say about tonight's game other than I'm disappointed. When is the freaking all Star break? I hope we get a better show and effort on Saturday night.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
