C's looking Jazzy

 🏀

We have no JT, Al, or KP tonight. We need a big game from JB! Jrue gets us on the board tonight. It's so nice having him back out there. He made some key plays the other night vs the Fakers. Jrue nails the corner three off the excellent ball movement. Heck of a play from Jrue knocking the ball off of Kessler. Jrue is as cool as a glass of whiskey out there. The way Luke runs the floor and gets right to the cup is so fun to watch.

JB has perfected his pull up mid range. It's so effortless the way he gets into his shot. Every game he plays he shows you the growth he has made since he was drafted. He with JT are the best duo in the NBA. They have shown that in multiple games this year. I fully expect them both to go off on Wednesday vs the Thunder. They owe the Thunder some payback for the last time we met.

C's are probably going to end up with the number two seed in the East. I'm at peace with that given how well they play on the road. I don't see very many playoff series with them going past six. Whether it be the Cavs, Bucks, or anyone in the East. Out West there are some tough teams but I still don't see it getting past 6. Given the fact they will not have home court vs Cavs or Thunder means we can win those series at home.

Despite the spread being so large tonight, these Jazz are playing to their own tune. So far they are keeping themselves in arms length of the C's. Question is can they sustain this... I don't believe they can. I expect the C's to go on a run at some point and that should be the game. I'm glad to see Sam getting some good run out here tonight. Now I want Torrey out there so he can continue to get comfortable with the fellas. Torrey is in and nails the three with absolute comfort.

🏀🏀

C's better pick things up and stop toying with this team. DWhite hits the three off of PP pushing the pace. Torrey Craig hits another three and his ability to score while in rhythm is top notch. What a defensive play from TC right there. He's really quite the pickup and I expect him to make a few key plays come playoff time. He just missed putting back that rebound right there.

Queta looks pretty good tonight, he's been working hard and it shows. I have a good feeling that he's going to develop into a heck of a player. I've heard Joe mention many times how he feels about him. His length and athletic ability put him into a category of his own. C's are missing way too many shots tonight. Which is why the game is still very close.

Luke is out here earning Tommy points diving on the floor. C's have a slight lead as we head into halftime. I really need to see them separate themselves in the third. It's gonna start on D and pushing the pace on offense.

🏀🏀🏀

What is going on with KP? I understand him having an illness but man I'm missing seeing him out there. Hopefully he will get better so he can get back out there and get his legs for the playoffs. I just want to see him firing on all cylinders in the playoffs. He's the key to unlocking the ultimate Celtics team. C's have built the lead to ten, now let's get it to twenty.

We have a timeout on the floor. A chance for the Celtics to get themselves right. An opportunity to come out and land the knockout blows here in the third. Question is who is going to lead that charge?! It has to be JB and getting his teammates going. The more they operate as a unit the better they will be. Off the timeout Sam I Am hits the three!

C's defense has stepped up since that timeout. Not to mention Sam is shooting the lights out! His rainbow threes are a thing of beauty. His stroke and shot are probably one of the best I've ever seen. He's so fundamentally sound and the way the ball swishes sounds incredible. The way he's shooting reminds me of that game last season in Washington. He was en Fuego that night. C's are currently on a 13-2 run here. C's have built this lead up to over twenty!

🏀🏀🏀🏀

C's can do a number of things here in the fourth. Give some other guys some run and rest the starters for Wednesday night. I can't believe how bad this Jazz team is. Between them and the Wizards I'm not sure who is worse. Cooper Flagg is going to be incredibly good for whoever he plays for.

Can we talk about how damn good Sams shooting was in that third. Like a sharp shooting assassin! He's the guy you want to take to the arcade to set the record for their basketball game. I remember always trying to set the record at Chuck E Cheese. The Jazz haven't given up here in the fourth. Kudos to them for playing hard.

C's better get it together or the Jazz are going to make a comeback. PP with three and the lead is fifteen. PP drives and scores, he's lightning quick getting to the cup. I love the way he can change speeds on the court. He's so shifty and can stop on a dime. He's such a complete player and I'm glad he's ours. The steal of that draft all those years ago. Sixth Man of the year award incoming!

C's are going to need to bring their best on Wednesday especially with how the Thunder have been playing. They are very stout defensively. On offense they are extremely effective. Shai is very difficult to guard. I'd like to see JB take on that task. Maybe even JT! I love how our best players want the challenge of defending other teams best players.

C's have really let this lead slide to the point that its a game. JB with a huge basket right there. C's need a defensive stop right now. Sometimes the C's stop playing fast. That's how these leads disappear. They need to learn to keep their foot on the gas. In these last few minutes they are going to need to buckle down. It all starts with their defense. Huge rebound and three by Jrue! Making championship level plays all the time! Oh my goodness! JB with the incredible JAM on that last play! That's the dunk that sealed this win!

C Us Rise! Celtic Pride! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet.
