Cs Spur San Antonio

 🍀

Cs look to continue their road dominance. This time against Derrick Whites former team the San Antonio Spurs. When watching the Spurs one can't wonder what if Tim Duncan ended up in Boston. That draft lottery was the most brutal of all lotteries. Cs should have gotten the first pick. They actually should have ended up with one and three. Yet they ended up with three and six. Instead of getting Duncan and possibly another high quality player. They ended up taking Chauncey Billups a Hall of Fame caliber player, and Ron Mercer who had a heck of a college career. Still no Duncan set the franchise back. It did however give the Spurs multiple titles and a spot as a top NBA Franchise. Imagine if they had taken Duncan and McGrady?! Pitino may not have failed miserably here. I know you shouldn't look back but I do when it comes to the Celtics.

Anyone watch the Uconn women today they were absolutely incredible. Paige was on fire and I expect them to win the whole enchilada this season. In the men's bracket it looks like Duke is the favorite to win it all, led by Cooper Flagg. Although Florida looks like a heck of a team. I mean so does Houston and Auburn. It's anyone's game at this point. I mean these are college kids and anything can happen. I have so many memories of incredible NCAA tournaments. I mean UMass had some special runs. That UNLV team that was straight nasty. The 89 Michigan team that beat Seton Hall. The Fab Five! Basketball is such a beautiful game to watch.

This arena looks dead... ugly uniforms and not a very visually appealing floor. KP opens up the floor with how great he is as a player. His first three was a smooth as butter! Will KP be a casualty of the " second apron" next year? I sure hope not. I love him as a player not only on the court but in the locker room. He's going to be the X Factor in the playoffs. His skill set is just so unique, and a joy to watch. He deserves to be healthy and truly enjoy this playoff run. I love the way the Cs are passing the rock tonight. Always trying to get the best shot possible.

I love their unselfishness, they are the true epitome of a team. A team that knows their true goal is in front of them. Which is going and fighting for Banner 19. The key will be health. Right now the Cavs are not playing quality basketball. If they continue on this trajectory they might just lose in the playoffs before they meet the Celtics. Nice seeing the Rook out there getting some early run tonight. Tonight's first quarter has been very efficient on the offensive end. Actually the Cs could have about ten more points. Cs lead after the first.

🍀🍀

KP is a blocking machine! He just told the Spurs player RETURN TO SENDER! His defense is the most underrated part of his game. I'm loving the double big with KP and Luke. That pass from Luke to KP was superb! It draws a foul and the Cs end up scoring on the next possession thanks to the "top dawg"! Yall know who I'm talking about! The Cs ball movement hasn't missed a step here in the second. This team just looks locked in despite playing the bottom tier teams lately.

Cs should have a test on Monday in Memphis. Honestly Cs owe them some payback for earlier in the season. Cs are on a eleven, to two run here. Let's see if they can sustain this lead and run the Spurs out of the building. JB is starting look better out there. Looks like his health is rounding into form. We are going to need him especially on defense guarding the other teams best players. Spurs have made a slight run to trim into this Celtics lead.

Cs have about five minutes left to push this lead back up. I see quite a decent number of Celtics fans in the stands and I'm loving it! Cs need to make some stops here especially given how the Spurs are attacking them right now. Jrue nails a big three as the Spurs have been on a rub. DWhite had a good look but couldn't cash it in. You can tell he's upset with himself. If he gets another opportunity expect that shot to go in. JB with the three in the face of his defender was SWEET! What did I tell you when given the opportunity to nail a shot DWhite takes advantage and all he hears is that swish sound. Cs lead at the half. Cs haven't hit a shot yet in the third. We can't be going scoreless much longer.

🍀🍀🍀

Cs will need to come out here in the third and punch the Spurs in the face. It would be ideal to grab a bigger lead and let guys rest in the fourth. Let's grab the win and keep our health in check. Anyone watching this Duke and Bama game. It's like a track meet out here, this Duke team is a wagon. I'm sure JT would love to get an update on his Alma Matter. Personally I can't stand Duke, but since JT started there I'll manage.

Cs aren't shooting very well right now and the Spurs are fighting hard. If these Spurs are healthy next year watch out. This team has the right pieces on this roster. I'm sure Wemby will be able to recruit some good free agents to San Antonio. Finally the Cs score and its off the pass from JT to his boy Luke. Luke is a rebounding machine! He's like the game hungry hungry hippo, but with rebounds.

Luke is a guy who unlocks the Celtics ability to get into the paint and score. It seems like everyone looks to feed the big dawg some baskets and bits! He currently stands at ten points and nine rebounds. Jrue looks as smooth as ever tonight. His shot has been absolutely beautiful. JT steps into a three and its pure! Now it's Sam's turn from deep and splash! Overall the Cs have done their job at keeping the Spurs at bay here. The rook is in and get your popcorn ready!

The rook nails the corner three! Kid is fearless and an assassin! His shot is nails! He is a hard nosed player and we are glad he's ours! Cs are a bit cold right now, but the lead is relatively in control. It's all about how we finish this quarter. It's these moments that can determine the outcome of a game. Cs lead after the third. In all reality the lead should be more. We are twelve minutes away from eight wins in a row.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

Time for the Celtics to nail this victory down. Time for the Cs to flex their muscle and finish this game off. JB with the sweet shake a bake then goes off the glass for the deuce! That was freaking pretty! By the time the playoffs roll around JB will be a man healthy and on a mission. It not the same without Al and PP. Miss seeing them on the court tonight. I'm guessing we will be full strength on Monday in Memphis.

What's cost the Cs tonight has been the turnovers. That's why the Spurs are still in range. If we were better with the rock we would be up by twenty. Great take by the rook drawing the foul right there. Luke earning the Tommy point with the tie up right there. What a great job as the ball was up for grabs as the rook skied for possession. This kid is special!

This entire team has shown how good it can be. To become legendary they must go back to back. Luke has a double double tonight and he's been extremely valuable all season. San Antonio continues to fight as the lead is down to eight. DWhite the former Spur says not so fast! As he calmly nails the three. Cs have owned the Spurs on the glass, it's been total dominance. Cs pull this one out.

C us Rise! Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! 🍀🍀🍀

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
