No Tatum No Brown... No Problem

Cs start things off here in the third with back to back threes. DWhite drives and scores to tie the game up! As we all know the C's are short handed with no Tatum or Brown. I'm a little late to the party given I was working my other job. KP looks pretty good as he gets inside and scores. C's are a bit sloppy out here right now. You have to love DWhite as he gets to the cup and goes glass. It should have been an And One!

DWhite drives and scores! This time he has a shot at the And One! He's cash money! C's have a lot of talent overall on this roster. It's evident tonight being without the Jays. DWhite nails the three in the flow of the offense. I love when he rises up and lets it fly! PP for three and the lead is ours! Both Derrick and Payton like finding each other on the floor. It wasn't too long ago that they both scores forty plus.

After tonight the C's will be on quite a long road trip. They will not return home until April second. I'm pleased to see Luke and Queta out here together. Hopefully they can make some headway here. We are approaching the three minute mark as the game is all tied up. C's are lacking on offense, and need someone to get going. The Rook nails a three at the buzzer and the C's have a lead! Kid has a nice stroke!

Mr Smooth gets to the cup and scores. We all know I'm referring to Jrue Holiday. If you really watch him on defense it's a thing of beauty. The way he positions his body and just makes play after play. I would pay to watch him over and over again. One of my favorite players of all time. He and Derrick could teach a master class on how to play defense.

C's are in a dog fight, and shots aren't falling. With that said the rook has other ideas. Baylor for three! The rookie is balling tonight. The kid hits again! This time with the lucky bounce. I love what I'm seeing from him tonight. Going forward we may have found the steal of the draft. Just like we did when we drafted PP! Both of these young men are extremely confident!

I don't mind these Celtics uniforms. Black is always a color that looks good and especially with Celtics green. Baylor for three! Kid is six from seven from deep right now. PP with the cross over which leads to a three! C's have really found their shots here in the fourth. KP gets in the post and scores easily. The unicorn is loose and running free! A very efficient game from the big fella tonight.

KP goes glass and the C's lead by ten! That should just about seal this one here tonight. Despite some moments in the first half where they trailed, they played much better in the second half. I believe Joe got into them and motivated them to play Celtics basketball. C's win and now it's on to the road.

C Us Rise! Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
