Cs look to put a spell on the Wizards

 🍀

DWhite opens us up with a deep three! Followed up by Luke with the deuce off the glass. Jrue for three! The Celtics are rolling early on! JB gets to thr rack and scores off the glass. Cs are looking very elite with their passing early on. Luke Kornet is an absolute beast! Which is why he's a big dawg! I absolutely love Luke Kornet. He's such a solid big that compliments this team so very well.

These Wizards have come to play despite being a dumpster fire of a team. How can a team be so bad?! I guess it has to do with being poorly constructed and coached. I really feel the NBA needs to move some teams from where they are. Wizards could definitely be one of those teams. Send em to Las Vegas or Seattle. A once proud franchise has become a joke in the NBA. Yet the NBA will never contract, they will only expand.

It's finally getting here the end of this regular season. The regular season has dragged on so slowly. Time for real basketball to start, bring on the playoffs! Cs have totally had their way with the Wizards. This game doesn't feel like it's in doubt whatsoever. Cs should be able to coast to a comfortable victory here tonight. Cs lead after the first!

🍀🍀

Cs are ready to continue what they started in the first. Nice seeing Craig out here giving us something to cheer for. He's a very aggressive and hard working player. Cs will only have four games left after today. They have cemented themselves as the second seed in the East. If it wasn't for the Cavs playing above themselves the Cs would be the top seed. I honestly feel homecourt or not we are winning another Banner.

Congratulations to the Uconn Huskies who demolished South Carolina. Geno brings the Huskies to the title yet again! First college program to reach and win twelve titles. That's saying something especially with all the incredible college programs over the years. Geno is an amazing coach who has built a powerhouse. Cs are dominant right now! No way these Wizards even sniff a comeback.

Who does everyone think wins tomorrow night? I think it's going to be an exciting game but I'm pulling for the Cougars. It's time to Coach Sampson to finally win the big one! Ultimate choke job by that Duke team despite having the best player in all of college basketball. Wizards are a team who would love to end up with Cooper Flagg.

Cs are about three minutes away from closing out this half with a nice lead. Derrick White has been absolutely incredible today. Like a man on a mission that's just shooting the lights out. The man can't and won't be stopped! If this Derrick White comes to the playoffs balling like this, watch out NBA. Cs with a nice lead at the half.

🍀🍀🍀

We are back from the half and the Cs look to get out of this one with their health in tact. Time for JB to get going in this game tonight. He's been pretty quiet overall. You can clearly see that JB is not a hundred percent. He's having a bit of an issue getting off running back on defense. You could see it on that last play right there. Even on the offensive end he seems to be tentative. He may not even crack ten points today.

Luke has been a rebounding machine tonight! He's grabbing every offensive board in sight. Expect Luke to play valuable minutes in the playoffs and make a lot of key contributions. He's just a high IQ player who positions himself in the right spots. Luke with the Tommy point as he earns the Cs an extra possession! Luke is out here barking! I mean literally barking. The man is becoming a Celtics legend.

JBs offense has really picked up here in the third. He looks a bit more comfortable and it shows. Luke finds DWhite on the cut and he Jams it home. What a pass from Luke and what a cut from Derrick!

🍀🍀🍀🍀

Cs put on a wire to wire win and it seems as though they are ready for the big match up with the Knicks.

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green! C US Rise!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S...
